Role:

Leader of the state training team.

Responsible To:

State commissioner concerned and state chief commissioner and state secretary for monitoring the progress in achieving the national targets, deputy director(Leader training)of the concerned wing at NTC.

Responsible For:

1. Meeting all the needs in adult leader training.
2. Planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating the training of adult leaders in the state as per the Scheme of Training.
3. Holding state training team meet and meet of the district training commissioners at least once a year.
4. Recommending suitable/qualified persons for district training commissioner and training councellors.
5. Guiding and directing assistant state training commissioner and district training commissioner and providing personal support.
6. Achieving the national targets in producing HWB's and training team members in consonance with the state priorities.
7. Co-ordinating with the state organising commissioner and other executives.
8. Recommendation for award of HWB parchment and for ALT/LT honarable charges to dy.Director(Leader training)of the concerned wing through Proper channel
9. Appointing qualified and eligible persons to conduct training courses
10. Issuing authorisation and recognition certificates as per scheme of training for the courses as per state programme
11. Providing literature and training aids for for adult leader
12. Strict adherence of scheme of training and to suggest changes in consultation with state training team to deputy director (Leader training)of the concerned wing and sandhan
13. Identifying weaker areas and initiating necessary measures for all round growth
14. Identifying persons and recommending for appointment as member of the state training team, through proper channel
15. Coordinating and supporting the regional headqurters in achieving in national targets.

Accountable For:

Qualitative of leader training in the state and the members of the state training team.

Requirements:

1. Must acquire the qualification of L.T in any section
2. Fair knowledge of the other section of the wing also.
3. Attend sandhan, STC's meet at national level.
4. Attend re-orientation when due.
5. Keep himself/herself updated in knowledge and skills of leader training.
6. Attend basic management/Professional course for scouters/guiders organised by NHQ.
