The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of the A.M. Ningegowda Memorial Scouts and Guides District Training Centre Building Complex of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chikkamagaluru District Association was held with great enthusiasm and devotion

Shri P. G. R. Sindhia, State Chief Commissioner, The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, performed the Shilanyas (foundation stone laying) and conveyed his best wishes.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Shri H. D. Thammaiah, Hon’ble MLA, Chikkamagaluru Constituency. Shri S. L. Bhojegowda, Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Council, participated as the Guest of Honour and addressed the gathering.

Other distinguished guests included Shri M. C. Shivananda Swamy, President, District Guarantee Implementation Committee, Chikkamagaluru; Shri Roshan R., General Manager, CSR & BIA, Toyota Company; and Shri Eshwar Babu Sopp, Manager, CSR, Toyota Company. They extended their good wishes and spoke on the occasion.

Shri A. N. Mahesh, Vice President, The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka State Association, delivered the introductory address.

The function was presided over by Shri M. N. Shadakshari, District Chief Commissioner. Smt. D. S. Mamatha, District Guide Commissioner, extended a warm welcome to the guests, and Smt. M. V. Prathima, District Training Commissioner, compered the programme.
